Hello and welcome to my blog!

I’m currently a 41 year-old trans woman, engaged to another trans woman, and have two daughters from my first marriage. I reside in central North Carolina and have been working from home since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. I’m a Pisces and have naturally strawberry blonde hair, which makes me a ditsy bitch at times!

I have been writing software since 1989 and am completely self-taught. I’m currently a senior software engineer for the Major Extremity Trauma and Rehabilitation Consortium Coordinating Center based at Johns Hopkins University. I have previously held software development positions at AT&T, Cisco, IBM, MCI/Worldcom, North Carolina State University, and a number of startups. I also wrote my own hosted VoIP PBX software package and used it to power my own company called Concert Telecommunications for six years. More information, including my work history can be found on my LinkedIn profile.

My hobbies include writing more software code, experimenting with microcontrollers, and bowling. I’m also a girly-girl and love getting dressed up when going out in public. But most of the time, you can find me in a cute top and either denim shorts or pants! I consider myself a Marxist feminist and staunch transgender advocate.
